Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Senior Transportation program offers a valuable service to older adults in the community. This program operates on a donation basis, with a suggested contribution of $2 per ride to support its continued operation. Riders are required to book their trips in advance, typically a few days beforehand, to ensure availability. Utilizing vans for transportation, the program offers convenient curb-to-curb service, prioritizing the safety and comfort of older adults during their journeys. Known for its reliable and accommodating nature, the program emphasizes the importance of scheduling rides in advance through the Rides In Advance system, allowing older adults to plan their trips with ease. Best of all, this service is provided free of charge, making it accessible to those who may benefit from reliable transportation options.
