Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Transportation Assistance Program offers a convenient and affordable transportation option for older adults in the community. Riders can schedule shared van rides for a suggested donation of $1 per trip, providing an economical way to travel to various destinations. It is important to schedule rides in advance through the Rides In Advance system, ensuring that transportation needs are met efficiently.
The program provides curb-to-curb transportation service, allowing older adults to be picked up and dropped off directly at their designated locations. Payments can be made in cash or by check, offering flexibility for riders. By utilizing this program, older adults can maintain their independence and access the transportation they need to attend appointments, run errands, and stay connected with their community.
