The Older Adult Transportation program offers affordable transportation services for individuals in the community. Participants are encouraged to donate $2 per ride, making it a cost-effective option for older adults on a budget. To utilize this service, individuals must schedule their rides a few days in advance to ensure availability. Payments can be made by either check or cash, providing flexibility for participants. This program offers shared van rides, allowing older adults to travel together to their destinations. The transportation service provides curb-to-curb pickup and drop-off, ensuring convenience and ease of access for riders. When booking a ride through this program, it is recommended to plan ahead with Rides In Advance to secure transportation for appointments, errands, or social outings.
