Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 65+ years old, or you have a disability.

CityRide is a convenient public transportation program designed to assist older adults with their mobility needs. Participants can access transportation via taxi, bus, or train for a flat fee of $2 per one-way trip, making it an affordable option for getting around the city. Payment can be made by check or in cash, providing flexibility for participants. One of the key features of CityRide is its on-demand scheduling, allowing older adults to request transportation as needed. This program also offers shared rides to maximize efficiency and reduce costs for participants. CityRide provides curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that older adults can be picked up and dropped off directly at their desired locations. Shawnee City Limits. 10/10 Taxi will also take eligible Shawnee residents to the Shawnee Mission Hospital Complex, the Merriam Nutritional Center at the Irene French Community Center at 5701 Merriam Drive or the Mission Transit Center at 5251 Johnson Drive at no additional charge.
