Night Line Service is a public transit program offering non-emergency medical transportation for older adults. This program provides convenient transportation via taxi and ensures flexibility by allowing riders to schedule rides at least one day in advance. Night Line Service offers various payment options, including insurance, vouchers, coupons, and donations, in addition to accepting Medicaid payments. The program charges a membership fee as well as a flat fee of $2 per ride.
Through Night Line Service, older adults can enjoy private rides in cars or vans, with the option to travel on fixed routes via bus or train. The program accommodates individual needs by providing paratransit services, assisting riders with packages, and allowing service animals on board. Recognizing the importance of companionship and independence, Night Line Service can arrange shared rides and offers on-demand scheduling. Furthermore, this program offers door-to-door and curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring a seamless and comfortable travel experience for older adults.
