Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

The Public Transportation program offers convenient and affordable transportation services for older adults within the community through a public transit system. Riders can access buses or trains for a flat fee, depending on the destination. In-city trips cost $4.00 per passenger for a round trip, while out-of-county trips are available for $20.00 per passenger. For in-county or cross-county travel, the fare is $7 per passenger. To utilize this program, older adults need to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days prior to the intended travel date. Payment for the transportation services can be made either by check or cash, providing flexibility to the riders. Additionally, the program ensures a convenient experience by offering curb-to-curb transportation, catering to the specific needs of each older adult passenger. With its reliable and cost-effective services, the Public Transportation program aims to facilitate safe and efficient travel for older adults within and beyond their local area.
