Learn More About This Program

This program provides services to help you live comfortably at home if you are blind.  Services include:

  • Recommendations for other programs and resources 
  • Lessons on how to get around your house or community with a cane or guide dog 
  • Support groups
  • Tips and training on how to do everyday activities
  • New ways to do activities like playing board games, sewing, and reading
  • Help with using audio-based equipment and learning Braille

Braille is an alphabet of raised dots that helps people who are blind read.
