Depending on the distance of the ride, the pricing is structured as follows: $1.00 for 0 to 10 miles, $2.00 for 11 to 25 miles, and $3.00 for trips exceeding 25 miles, each way. To access this service, riders are required to book their transportation at least 24 hours in advance, ensuring timely accommodation for their needs.
Individuals utilizing the KABS program have the convenience of scheduling their rides a few days ahead of time, providing a sense of predictability and reliability in their transportation arrangements. Accepted forms of payment include both cash and checks, offering flexibility for older adults to choose their preferred method.
