Transpo/Demand Response is a transportation program that offers convenient and affordable rides for older adults. With a cost of $2 per stop within town and $4 per stop in the county, this service provides a cost-effective way for older adults to get around. For those aged 60 and over, rides are free of charge, although donations are welcome to support the program.
To utilize Transpo/Demand Response, riders must schedule their trips in advance, allowing for effective trip planning. Payment for the services can be made by cash or check, providing flexibility for the riders. The program offers shared van rides, promoting a sense of community among older adults who may be traveling to similar destinations. With curb-to-curb transportation, older adults can rely on this program to assist them in getting to their desired locations safely and comfortably.
