The Boone County Transportation Program offers a convenient and flexible transportation option for older adults living within Boone County. Riders can access transportation services to various destinations within the county by making a donation. For trips outside Boone County, a fee-based service is available. To ensure a smooth experience, riders are required to schedule their rides in advance, allowing for proper planning and coordination.
The program operates using vans to provide shared rides, fostering a sense of community among older adults utilizing the service. Additionally, the transportation is curb-to-curb, ensuring that riders are assisted from their starting point to their intended destination safely and comfortably.
Payment for the program can be made through checks, pre-payment, or cash, offering riders multiple options for convenience.
