Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

The Public Transportation program offers a variety of transportation options for older adults in the community. This program provides non-emergency medical transportation services through taxis, public transit like buses or trains, and private car services. To utilize this program, riders must schedule their rides in advance, typically at least one day ahead, and payment can be made through insurance, vouchers, donations, or a membership fee. Pricing is structured to accommodate older adults, with donations accepted for those over 60 years old, while the general public pays $4 per stop within the town or city limits and $6 per stop outside those boundaries. In addition to accommodating different payment methods such as checks, cash, credit cards, and Medicaid, this program also offers added services like paratransit, assistance with packages or bags, and on-demand scheduling for shared rides. It ensures convenience for older adults by providing door-to-door, curb-to-curb, or fixed route transportation, with options for service animals to accompany riders. Riders can also benefit from the program's flexibility, such as drivers waiting during errands or appointments, with the possibility to schedule rides a few days to a week in advance as needed.
