CityBus ACCESS Paratransit is a specialized transportation service designed to assist older adults with mobility challenges. The program offers curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring riders are safely picked up and dropped off at their destinations. Riders can schedule shared rides in advance, allowing for a more cost-effective and efficient travel experience. To utilize the CityBus ACCESS Paratransit program, riders must schedule their trips a few days in advance, providing flexibility for both the riders and the program coordinators. The program is priced at $2 per boarding, with the option to pay using cash or check. Pre-payment is also accepted, streamlining the payment process for participants. Moreover, CityBus ACCESS Paratransit accommodates riders with packages or bags, offering additional assistance for those who may need help with their belongings. This program aims to support older adults in accessing essential services and maintaining their independence by providing a reliable and accessible transportation option.


Service Area

CityBus's ACCESS Paratransit Service operates the same hours and destinations served by regular route buses and provides "curb to curb" service to any location within 3/4 mile of a route. "Door to door" service is available upon request.
