The Veterans Transportation Service (VTS) is a donation-based program that offers free transportation services to older adults. Riders are encouraged to donate, but there is no set fee required. To use the VTS, older adults must schedule their rides a few days in advance. The program provides shared van rides, allowing multiple older adults to travel together to their appointments or errands. VTS offers curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that older adults are safely picked up and dropped off at their destinations. This service provides a convenient and cost-effective way for older adults to get to where they need to go.
