The Public Transportation program offers convenient and affordable transportation services for individuals living within and outside the city limits. Passengers under 60 years old can access rides for a fee of $2.50 for a one-way trip, whereas those beyond the 3-mile city limit boundary may avail themselves of this service for a rate of $5.00 one-way. For older adults aged 60 and above, the program operates on a suggested donation basis, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for this demographic. To arrange a ride through this program, riders are encouraged to schedule their transportation needs a few days in advance. Payment can be made by check or in cash, providing flexibility for individuals with different payment preferences.
