Demand Response Services is a public transit program designed to provide transportation options for older adults. The program offers the convenience of shared rides, with the flexibility of scheduling trips in advance, including curb-to-curb service for ease of access. Riders can choose between a $3.00 fare for curb-to-curb service or a $5.00 fare for door-to-door service within the county, with an additional $2.00 fee for destinations outside the county. For older adults aged 60 and above, there is a discounted fare of $1.00 off the regular price, making transportation more affordable and accessible. Payments for this program can be made by cash, check, or pre-payment, offering various options for riders' convenience. By utilizing Demand Response Services, older adults can ensure reliable and punctual transportation to their desired destinations while enjoying discounted fares for their trips.
