Cass-Schuyler Public Transit is a non-emergency medical transportation program available to older adults. This public transit program offers transportation services via taxi, allowing older adults to schedule rides in advance to various destinations. Riders can pay for their trips using insurance, vouchers, coupons, or donations. The program charges reasonable flat fees for one-way trips within Beardstown and Rushville, as well as in Cass and Schuyler Counties, with additional charges for side stops.
In addition to providing private rides, Cass-Schuyler Public Transit also accepts Medicaid payments and offers paratransit services, assisting older adults with packages or bags. The program ensures riders can access transportation conveniently by allowing on-demand scheduling and providing shared rides. Riders can use various payment methods such as cash, checks, prepaid options, or credit cards.
