Riders can schedule rides in advance, with options for door-to-door transportation, curb-to-curb service, and assistance with packages or bags. This program offers private rides via taxi or car, as well as shared rides on buses or trains. Pricing for this program is set at $2.50 per trip within the city, with a cost of $6.00 per trip for rides outside the city but within certain areas of Adams County.
Additionally, the program accepts various forms of payment including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid payments. Older adults have the flexibility to pay with cash, credit card, check, or pre-payment. With on-demand scheduling available, this program aims to provide convenient and reliable transportation for older adults, ensuring they can access necessary medical appointments, run errands, or attend social engagements.
