CityLink Public Transit is a public transportation program that offers non-emergency medical transportation services through taxis, cars, buses, and trains for older adults. Riders can schedule rides in advance, ranging from a few days to a week, and have the option to pay using insurance, vouchers/coupons, donations, or out-of-pocket through various methods such as cash, check, credit card, or pre-payment. The program charges a standard fare of $1.00 per one-way ride, with a discounted fare of $0.50 for qualifying passengers. Benefit Access passengers with an approved photo ID can ride for free. CityLink Public Transit also provides paratransit services, allowing older adults with mobility challenges to travel comfortably. The program includes additional assistance such as helping riders with packages or bags, offering door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, and allowing service animals on board. With convenient on-demand scheduling and shared rides, CityLink Public Transit aims to enhance older adults' accessibility to vital medical appointments, community engagements, and everyday errands.
