Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability.

The Transportation Service program offers convenient and affordable transportation options for individuals living in various townships within Mendota and surrounding areas. Older adults aged 60 and above can access rides within Mendota at a cost of $2.00 per stop, with a slightly higher rate of $2.50 for wheelchair clients. For trips outside Mendota to locations like Triumph, Troy Grove or Earlville, Harding, Meriden, the round trip fees range from $6.00 to $7.00 within 15 miles and $15.00 for longer distances. Individuals under 60 with proof of disability can also utilize this service at a slightly higher rate. It's important to note that rides must be scheduled in advance, and various payment options are available, including payment by check, pre-payment, and cash. Transportation is provided via vans, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers. The program's pricing structure is based on the distance traveled, making it a flexible and affordable choice for older adults in need of reliable transportation.
