"Transportation Services" is a convenient non-emergency medical transportation program designed to assist older adults in reaching their medical appointments and other destinations. With wheelchair transportation starting at $50.00 per one-way trip plus $5.00 per mile, and service car charges beginning at $20.00 per one-way trip plus $2.25 per mile, this program offers pricing options to suit different needs. To utilize this service, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides at least a few days in advance, ensuring timely and reliable transportation. This program boasts multiple payment methods for the convenience of its users, including payment by check, pre-payment, credit card payments, and cash. Older adults have the flexibility to request on-demand transportation services or schedule rides in advance. With transportation provided via vans and charges based on mileage, this program prioritizes the comfort and affordability of older adults needing to travel to various destinations.
