Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.
The Transportation Service program provides older adults with convenient and reliable transportation options for their non-emergency medical needs. Participants can access transportation via taxis, private cars, buses, or trains, ensuring flexibility in their travel arrangements. Ride scheduling is made easy, with the program allowing for advance bookings at least one day in advance, and some services offering on-demand scheduling.
To accommodate different payment preferences, the program accepts various payment methods such as insurance, vouchers, donations, checks, credit cards, and cash. Pricing details are affordable, with a $2 one-way fare for general riders and free rides for older adults, with the option to make donations. There are membership and flat fees for some services, providing cost-effective choices based on individual needs.
Additionally, this program goes the extra mile in catering to older adults' needs by offering door-to-door and curb-to-curb transportation services. Riders can also benefit from a driver's assistance with packages or bags, as well as having the option for the driver to wait during errands or appointments. Furthermore, the program ensures inclusivity by allowing riders to have service animals accompany them during their travels.
