 Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required. 
Public Transit is a convenient transportation program designed to provide older adults with an affordable way to travel within their community. The program offers rides via bus or train, with a regular fare of $1 per ride. Older adults and people with disabilities can enjoy a discounted fare of $0.50 per ride by presenting a DPTS card or a Medicaid card. For those with circuit breaker certification, rides are completely free of charge.
Participants in the program can pay using various methods, including cash, check, or pre-payment. Public Transit operates on fixed routes and schedules, ensuring reliable transportation for older adults to reach their destinations conveniently. Whether running errands, attending appointments, or simply exploring the area, this program aims to make commuting easier and more affordable for older adults in the community.
