The Dignified Senior Transportation program offers affordable transportation services for older adults at a flat rate of $1.00 per one-way trip. To use this program, older adults must schedule their rides in advance, typically requiring a few days' notice. The program facilitates shared rides, allowing older adults to commute together and socialize during their trips. Payments can be made via check or in cash, providing flexibility for participants. Rides are conducted in vans that offer comfortable and accessible transportation for older adults. The program ensures convenience by offering curb-to-curb transportation, meaning older adults are picked up and dropped off at their desired locations. Additionally, this program accommodates older adults who have service animals, allowing them to bring their furry companions along for the ride. Consider utilizing the Rides In Advance feature when planning transportation through this program to ensure a smooth and timely experience for older adults.
