CountyLink Public Transportation is a versatile and reliable transportation program tailored to meet the needs of older adults seeking non-emergency medical transportation or daily travel assistance. Operated as a public transit service, this program offers the convenience of booking rides via taxi, ensuring prompt and efficient service for its passengers. Riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, with a minimum notice of one day to arrange their desired transportation. One of the unique features of CountyLink is its acceptance of various payment methods, including insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, and Medicaid payments. Pricing details are straightforward, with a flat fee of $6.00 per one-way trip, making budgeting for transportation expenses simple and predictable. Additionally, the program provides door-to-door transportation services, assisting older adults from their homes to their destinations comfortably and securely. CountyLink Public Transportation also caters to individuals with specific needs, offering paratransit services, vehicle assistance with packages or bags, and the option for shared rides to optimize efficiency and affordability. Service Area

Services available to Bartonville, Bellevue, Brimfield, Chillicothe, Dunlap, Edelstein, Edwards, Elmwood, Glasford, Hanna City, Kickapoo, Kingston Mines, Laura, Mapleton, Mossville, Norwood, Oak Hill, Orchard Mines, Princeville, Rome, Smithville, Trivoli, Tuscarora, and West Peoria. Services are also available throughout the townships of Akron, Brimfield, Chillicothe, Elmwood, Hallock, Hollis, Jubilee, Kickapoo, Limestone, Logan, Medina, Millbrook, Peoria, Princeville, Radnor, Richwoods, Rosefield, Timber, Trivoli, and West Peoria.Anyone who lives outside of the service area of the Peoria City Link Public Transit system is eligible to ride. Trips must originate outside of city of Peoria, but may be taken anywhere in Peoria County.
