Please make sure to contact MultiCare Home Health and Personal Care Services: Home Care w/transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

The Home Care with Transportation program offers non-emergency medical transportation via taxi for older adults. This public transit program allows riders to schedule rides at least a day in advance and accepts payments through insurance, vouchers, donations, membership fees, flat fees, and Medicaid. Riders can also pay using checks, credit cards, pre-payment, or cash for the fixed-route transportation services provided through vans, buses, or trains. Riders are charged an hourly rate with a minimum of 2 hours at $18 per hour. The program is considered a paratransit service, enabling older adults to have assistance with packages or bags if needed. Additionally, the program allows on-demand scheduling, shared rides, and door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services. Service animals are permitted, and the program's drivers are willing to wait for passengers during errands or appointments. For a convenient and reliable transportation option, older adults can rely on the Home Care with Transportation program, ensuring they can maintain their independence and access necessary medical appointments or errands.
