Members of this program can schedule transportation at least one day in advance and enjoy the flexibility of on-demand scheduling for their trips. The program provides transportation through taxis, cars, vans, buses, or trains, catering to different preferences and requirements.
Participants in this program have the option to pay via insurance, vouchers, coupons, credit cards, checks, or cash, ensuring that the payment process is convenient and accessible for all members. There is an annual membership fee of $45, and a flat fee of $5 per ride, with invoices sent to members monthly to track their ride activity. With a focus on inclusivity, the program allows riders to bring service animals along for their journeys, providing a welcoming and accommodating transportation service.
Additionally, the Senior Transportation program offers added assistance for riders, such as helping with packages or bags, providing door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, and even offering a driver waiting service for passengers running errands or attending appointments. Whether it's for medical appointments, shopping trips, or social outings, this program aims to make transportation for older adults convenient, affordable, and stress-free.
