Operating as a public transit program, Jones County-JETS provides transportation via private rides in cars, facilitating easy access for those requiring transportation to medical appointments, errands, or social engagements.
Riders have the flexibility to schedule their rides at least one day in advance, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off. The program features affordable pricing options, with rates varying based on the destination: within cities at $4 each way, between cities at $6 each way, and special trips or out-of-county rides at $30 per hour. Additionally, extra stops within the same town can be accommodated for a nominal fee of $2.
