Riders can schedule rides in advance, with a few different payment options available including insurance, vouchers, or donations. The pricing structure is set at $1.25 per ride for regular fare and $.60 per ride for individuals aged 65 and above, Medicaid/Medicare card holders, or those with disabilities.
In addition to providing paratransit services, Public Transit ensures a convenient experience for riders by offering on-demand scheduling, shared rides, and assistance with packages or bags. Riders can expect door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, depending on their needs. The program also allows for extra services such as a driver waiting for the passenger during errands or appointments, providing a sense of security and comfort.
