Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability.

Paratransit is a transportation program designed for individuals who need to schedule their rides in advance, requiring bookings at least one day prior to the desired trip. This program operates on a flat fee basis, with a one-way fare set at $3.00 for MET trips. Passengers have the option to purchase tickets individually or in sheets of ten for $30.00, which can be obtained either through mail or directly from the driver. One of the notable features of this program is that personal care attendants can ride at no charge, and companions may join at the same fare, subject to available space. As a paratransit program, it offers transportation services via bus or train and facilitates pre-payment methods, including cash. Riders can expect assistance from the operators, who are mandated to accompany passengers to and from their destinations, providing curb-to-curb transportation. Those interested in utilizing this service should plan ahead by scheduling their rides between 1 to 14 days in advance during office hours, which are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays and from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM on Saturdays and holidays.
