2-1-1 Homeless Helpline

1 min read

The 2-1-1 helpline counselors can help you find shelter and support programs and services. If you and your family are homeless or may become homeless, the counselors will work with you to:

  • Provide emotional support
  • Find out about your needs and homeless situation
  • Screen you for placement in a shelter and get you on a waiting list and into a shelter when beds are available
  • Refer you to support programs where you can get food and a place to take a shower
  • Provide information about services that are available, such as legal help, cash assistance, programs to help with basic needs, and medical care

How do I get help?

You can get help by calling 2-1-1 and speaking to a counselor.
