This program can help you stay in your home if you have a disability. It provides grants to make changes to your home and make it more accessible. The type of home of home improvements include:

  • Stairway modification
  • Ramp installation or modification
  • Widening of doorways and hallways
  • Installation of appropriate bathroom fixtures
  • Adjustments to the level of countertops or other surfaces
  • Adapting the home to manage issues related to Alzheimer's Disease or related dmentia conditions
  • Changes to stoves, ovens, thermostats, and other devises in the home to help you use them if you have vision or hearing loss.
