- Skills training: Skills covered include food preparation, shopping, and personal care.
- Peer counseling: Another person who has a disability can meet with you—alone or in a group—to discuss issues related to your disability.
- Advocacy: You will receive help in developing skills to ask for what you need.
- Housing services: The program can help you get a place to live and can give you information on how to modify your living space to meet your needs, such as installing special fixtures i your home.
