This program helps you stay independent if you are blind or have low vision. You can take part in free life skills programs focused on blindness and low vision. There are special programs available for younger people and older adults. Services may include:
- Education for the understanding and prevention of blindness
- Vocational rehabilitation services leading to job placement
- Low vision clinic exams with the prescription and fitting of special visual aids and appliances to make the most of the vision you do have
- Training assistance to improve your skills of becoming more independent
