This program provides you with services to help you continue living at home and remain active in your community. If you have a disability that makes it hard for you live on your own, this program connects you with community-based support and services. Services may include:

  • Counseling
  • Mobility training
  • Personal care attendants
  • Physical rehabilitation
  • Prostheses and other devices
  • Interpreters and reader services
  • Individual and group social and recreational activities

The Independent Living program also provides education to your community to explain how you and others cope with disabilities.
