The Paratransit Service offers convenient transportation for individuals living in the Cobb County area who may require assistance due to age or disability. This program provides a door-to-door service, ensuring that older adults can travel safely and comfortably to their desired destinations. Riders have the flexibility to schedule their rides in advance, allowing for better planning and peace of mind. Participants in the CobbLinc Transportation Voucher Program (TVP) can benefit from financial assistance in utilizing private transportation services if they reside outside the paratransit service area. This voucher program helps older adults and individuals with disabilities access the transportation they need to maintain their independence and stay connected within the community. With the option to pay in cash or by check, this program offers flexibility in payment methods to accommodate the diverse needs of its riders. Through the Paratransit Service, individuals can access shared rides via bus or train, making transportation more affordable and environmentally friendly. Service animals are welcome onboard, ensuring that riders with assistance animals can travel together seamlessly. By providing curb-to-curb transportation, this program prioritizes the comfort and convenience of older adults, ensuring a reliable and accessible transportation option for those in need.
