Companion Care is a transportation program designed to provide convenient and reliable transportation services for older adults. As part of this program, riders can schedule rides in advance, ensuring they have transportation arranged at their convenience. The program offers transportation via car, with a flat-rate pricing structure that includes a special transport fee for the first 3 hours and additional hourly charges thereafter. If riders opt to use their own car, there are no additional mileage fees incurred.
In addition to transportation services, Companion Care also assists riders with packages or bags, making it easier for older adults to run errands or attend appointments without worrying about carrying heavy items. Payments for the program can be conveniently made via credit card, adding to the ease of use for riders. Furthermore, Companion Care provides door-to-door transportation, ensuring that older adults can be safely transported directly to their destination.
One unique feature of Companion Care is the option for riders to have a driver wait for them while they complete errands or attend appointments, adding an extra level of assistance and flexibility to the transportation service.
