The Public Transportation program offers affordable transportation for older adults at a cost of $2 per trip. Additionally, members of the Congregant Nutrition Program can benefit from free transportation to and from the center, making it easier for older adults to access important services and activities. This program utilizes buses or trains for transportation, ensuring a reliable and convenient service for older adults. To utilize this program, older adults need to schedule their rides in advance, allowing them to plan their transportation ahead of time. Payment for this program can be made either by check or in cash, providing flexibility for older adults in how they choose to pay for their rides. When booking transportation through this program, older adults can expect curb-to-curb service, ensuring that they are safely transported from their pickup location to their destination.
