Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or . And, you must be a member, or sign-up to become a member.
The Senior Transportation program provides non-emergency medical transportation for older adults via taxi, car, bus, or train. This public transit program offers a range of payment options, including insurance, vouchers, donations, Medicaid, checks, credit cards, or cash. Riders can schedule rides in advance, with options for on-demand scheduling available. The program offers door-to-door, curb-to-curb, and shared ride services, with drivers who can wait for passengers during errands or appointments. There are also assistance services for carrying packages or bags. The program follows fixed routes and charges based on various fee structures, such as hourly rates, flat fees, or per mile charges. Additionally, riders are welcome to bring service animals on board.
