The Demand Response program offers an hourly rate non-emergency medical transportation service for older adults. Riders need to schedule their rides at least one day in advance, providing flexibility while ensuring timely transportation. Additionally, this program offers private rides in cars and accepts Medicaid payments. Pricing details include free service for low-income residents and a $10 one-way fee for others, ensuring affordability for all participants. Demand Response also functions as a paratransit program, providing assistance with packages or bags and accommodating shared rides. For added convenience, the program allows on-demand scheduling and accepts various payment methods like cash, check, credit card, and pre-payment.
