Riders have the convenience of scheduling their trips at least one day in advance, with the option to book a few days prior for advance planning. Participants in the NSB Flex Service program have various payment options available to them, including insurance coverage, vouchers, coupons, donations, and accepting payment in cash, credit card, or check. The program also welcomes Medicaid payments and offers a membership fee or flat fee structure for the services provided. Pricing details of the program include a regular fare of $1.75 per ride and a reduced fare of $0.85, ensuring affordability for those utilizing the transportation service. Moreover, NSB Flex Service operates as a paratransit program, catering to individuals with special needs or those requiring additional assistance, such as carrying packages or bags. Flex service is available in New Smyrna Beach on the beachside and mainland and will connect with Votran Routes 40, 41 and 44 at Votran's Julia Street and Sams Avenue Connection Point.
