Public Transportation is a convenient and affordable public transit program designed to provide transportation services to individuals in the community. The program offers rides along fixed routes for a fare of $1.50 per ride for regular users and a reduced fare of $0.75 per ride for individuals aged 65 and older, as well as for disabled individuals. Participants in the program have the flexibility to pay for their rides using various payment methods such as checks, credit cards, or cash. Additionally, the program allows for pre-payment to streamline the transportation process. Shared rides are also available through this program, offering a cost-effective option for older adults to travel within the community. Public Transportation operates on a fixed schedule, ensuring that riders can plan their trips ahead of time. The program provides curb-to-curb transportation services, allowing older adults to be picked up and dropped off at specific locations. Service animals are welcome on board, providing older adults with the necessary support and companionship during their travels.
