Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

Public Transportation is a versatile transportation program that offers reliable and convenient services for older adults. This program prioritizes non-emergency medical transportation and provides rides via taxis, cars, buses, and trains. By charging a flat fee or hourly rate, it ensures affordability for riders, with various payment options available such as insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, or credit card payments. For those eligible, Medicaid payments are also accepted. Standard fare starts at $1.75 per one-way trip, with reduced fares available at $0.85, and military members in uniform ride for free. The program offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing older adults to book rides in advance, on-demand, or on a fixed schedule. Passengers can request door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, tailored to their needs. Additionally, the service extends support for carrying packages and accommodates service animals when required. Public Transportation aims to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults by providing safe and efficient transportation options, ensuring they can access essential services, attend appointments, and engage in their communities without limitations.
