Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Transportation Assistance Program offers affordable rides for older adults in the community. Riders enrolled in Medicaid can access transportation for just $1 per ride, while those eligible for Transportation Disadvantaged services pay a nominal fee of $1.50 per trip. For other individuals, pricing is determined based on the distance traveled.
Participants can conveniently travel via bus or train, enjoying shared rides with fellow community members. To ensure a smooth experience, riders are encouraged to schedule their trips a few days in advance. By planning ahead, older adults can secure their transportation needs and reach their destinations on time.
