Faith in Action's Senior Transportation program offers convenient and reliable non-emergency medical transportation for older adults. This program provides transportation through taxis and public transit to ensure older adults can access essential medical appointments and services. Riders can schedule their rides in advance, with the option to pay through insurance, vouchers, donations, or a flat fee. For those who require specialized assistance, such as paratransit services or accompaniment for errands, Faith in Action's program provides door-to-door and curb-to-curb transportation. Riders can enjoy the flexibility of on-demand scheduling and shared rides, while also having the option to pre-pay or pay using various methods such as credit cards, checks, or cash. Service animals are welcomed on board, and riders are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $10 if they are able to afford it. Faith in Action's Senior Transportation program strives to ensure that older adults have access to the transportation they need to maintain their well-being and independence.
