To make use of this program, older adults are required to schedule their rides at least a day in advance, providing flexibility and accommodating various scheduling needs. Riders have the option to pay for these transportation services through insurance, vouchers, donations, or a membership fee. Additionally, the program accepts Medicaid payments and offers pricing details that are free but encourages donations. Providing private rides, this program ensures a comfortable and tailored transportation experience for older adults. The Volunteer Transportation program also supports riders with package assistance and allows service animals to accompany them during their travels. With a focus on convenience and accessibility, this program offers door-to-door transportation services, ensuring that older adults can easily reach their destinations.
