Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you have a disability.

The Public Transportation program offers a convenient and accessible way for older adults to get to their medical appointments and run essential errands. This non-emergency medical transportation program provides rides via taxi or shared van service, ensuring that older adults can reach their destinations safely and comfortably. Riders have the flexibility to schedule their rides in advance, with the option to pay using insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, or credit cards. With a focus on affordability, the program charges a variety of fees based on the type of service needed, such as general fare, wheelchair van, stretcher van, or Medicaid (Income-Based) rates. The program also accommodates those with special needs by offering paratransit services and assisting riders with packages or bags. Additionally, riders can expect door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, and service animals are welcome to accompany passengers. Whether older adults require transportation for medical purposes or everyday tasks, the Public Transportation program aims to provide a reliable and inclusive service that meets their diverse needs.
