Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you have a disability.

Paratransit is a specialized transportation program designed to offer non-emergency medical transportation services to older adults and individuals with disabilities. This program operates similarly to a public transit system, providing rides via taxis or vans. To utilize this service, riders must schedule their transportation in advance, typically at least one day beforehand. Payment for the Paratransit program can vary depending on the rider's circumstances. Some individuals may pay privately, while others may have their costs covered by insurance, Medicaid, vouchers, coupons, donations, or other forms of accepted payment methods such as credit cards, checks, or cash. The pricing for the service may also differ based on the location, with in-county rides costing $5 and out-of-county rides starting at $8, with potential variations. One of the key features of the Paratransit program is its flexibility in accommodating riders' needs. Whether it's providing door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, allowing service animals on board, carrying packages, offering shared rides, or even waiting for passengers during errands or appointments, this program aims to make transportation more accessible and convenient for older adults and individuals with mobility challenges.
