NeedyMeds Prescription and Health Care Assistance

Learn More About This Program

What is NeedyMeds?

NeedyMeds helps people get access to low-cost medicine and affordable health care. They connect people to participating clinics for medical, dental, mental health, and substance use treatment, and help people find programs that offer financial assistance for certain health conditions. One of their main services is the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), which offers free or low-cost medicine to those who qualify. NeedyMeds also shares other ways to save money, like coupons, rebates, and discount cards.

How do I get help from NeedyMeds?

You don’t need to sign up or share personal information to get help from NeedyMeds. Simply visit their website and use the search bar on the home page. Click “Search Drugs” to find help with prescription costs, click the “Search Diagnoses” tab to find condition-specific programs, and click “Search Clinics” to find low-cost health clinics.

There are also many programs, funded by the government or private groups, that help with costs related to specific health conditions. Some are nationwide, others only for certain states, and most have income limits. They may help with things like medicine, doctor visits, co-pays, travel, food, medical supplies, or care support. Find the program right for you by using the search bar on NeedyMeds’ home page and clicking the “Search Programs’ tab.

The NeedyMeds Drug Discount Card

NeedyMeds also offers a Drug Discount Card that helps you save up to 80% on prescription medicines. It can also be used for some over-the-counter drugs and medical supplies, as long as you have a prescription for them. To get the discount, all you have to do is present the card to your pharmacist when picking up your prescription.
