This program provides you with services that will help you to live independently. Services include:
- Employment skills training and evaluation
- Orientation and mobility help
- Ways to manage daily living
- Physical conditioning
- Home management
- Medical management
- Recreation and leisure skills
- Meal preparation
- Braille literacy
- Electronic visual aids
Most services are free. If you are 55 or older, you can take part in a special program that provides you with mobility training, adaptive equipment, and support groups to help you manage low vision.
