Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

Dial-A-Ride is a convenient and reliable transportation program designed to assist older adults with their non-emergency medical transportation needs. This program offers transportation through taxis, providing a flexible and efficient way for older adults to attend medical appointments, run errands, or access other essential services. Riders have the option to schedule their trips in advance, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs. Dial-A-Ride also accepts various forms of payment, including insurance, vouchers or coupons, donations, and Medicaid payments, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals. To utilize Dial-A-Ride, riders are required to pay an annual registration fee of $20. Additionally, a suggested donation of $2 per trip (or $4 for round trips) is encouraged but not mandatory. The program also provides door-to-door transportation services, allowing older adults to be safely escorted from their homes to their destinations. Furthermore, Dial-A-Ride offers a compassionate driver who can assist passengers with packages or bags and is knowledgeable about accommodating service animals when needed.
